Patient Access Representative - Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

What You'll Do- Manage 65-80+ calls daily in a high-volume patient access environment.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care needs via phone and email.
- Verify insurance coverage, referrals, authorizations, and patient demographics.
- Register patients remotely and ensure accurate documentation.
- Provide appointment reminders and assist with scheduling updates.
- Process physician referrals and coordinate urgent scheduling requests.
- Educate patients on insurance, billing processes, payment responsibilities, and financial assistance resources.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and providers to resolve scheduling and registration issues.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
