Director of Operations - Quick Service Restaurants

Leap Brands is partnering with a growing Quick Service Restaurant company looking for a Director of Operations who knows how to lead from the front, build strong teams, and drive execution across multiple locations.

This is not a “sit behind a desk and forward emails” type of role. We are looking for someone who understands the reality of restaurant operations. Staffing issues, food costs, guest complaints, training gaps, operational consistency, speed of service, unit profitability… this role owns all of it.

The right person will know how to balance accountability with support, hold operators to high standards, and create a culture where teams actually want to perform.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple restaurant locations
• Drive sales, profitability, labor management, and operational performance
• Coach and develop District Managers, General Managers, and field leadership
• Improve guest experience scores, speed of service, and operational consistency
• Ensure compliance with company standards, food safety, and brand execution
• Partner with leadership on growth initiatives, new store openings, and operational improvements
• Identify operational gaps quickly and implement solutions that actually work in the field
• Build strong teams and create leadership bench strength for future growth
• Analyze KPIs, financial performance, labor models, and operational reporting
• Work cross-functionally with HR, Training, Marketing, Finance, and Development

What We’re Looking For

• Multi-unit restaurant operations leadership experience within QSR, Fast Casual, or Hospitality
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence teams at every level
• Experience leading high-volume operations across multiple markets
• Proven ability to improve operations, profitability, and people performance
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Hands-on leader who is willing to spend significant time in the field
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, and operational metrics
• Ability to build systems while still maintaining operational urgency
