Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Anchor Therapy, you will engage in various responsibilities that are pivotal to our patients' recovery. Your day-to-day activities will consist of:

• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions to adult clients suffering from chronic pain, anxiety, and depression, employing evidence-based practices tailored to their unique situations.

• Leading weekly psychoeducational classes that educate clients on coping strategies for pain management and emotional well-being.

• Offering brief individual therapy to individuals within our Functional Restoration Program (FRP), conducting evaluations to monitor and assess their clinical progress.

• Conducting thorough assessments and developing treatment plans based on the requirements of your active caseload, emphasizing personalized care approaches.

• Utilizing recognized best practices in pain psychology to inform your clinical interventions and enhance patient outcomes.
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and referring clients to specialized resources and modalities within the clinic as necessary.

• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of client interactions and care within our electronic medical records (EMR) system, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who have experienced work-related injuries, often presenting with a range of psychological challenges including anxiety, depression, and trauma linked to their physical pain. Your skills in understanding the interplay of psychological and physical health will be critical in helping these individuals navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• An active LCSW license in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of practical experience providing therapy, particularly utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-oriented interventions.
