Pay Range: $115,000-$125,000 per year

Manpower is partnering with a leading advanced manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Production Manager to lead high-volume production teams and drive operational excellence. This strategic leadership position is responsible for overseeing production performance, workforce planning, safety initiatives, continuous improvement programs, and overall operational efficiency across manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking manufacturing leader with a proven track record of developing teams, improving productivity, and creating a culture centered on safety, quality, and accountability.

What You'll Be Doing

• Direct and oversee daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are achieved.

• Develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Lead workforce and capacity planning efforts to support production demands and organizational growth.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality enhancement, waste reduction, and cost savings.

• Champion Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence methodologies across production departments.

• Analyze performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve operational results.

• Guide and mentor production managers, supervisors, and leadership teams.

• Foster a positive employee relations environment through coaching, development, and conflict resolution.

• Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Human Resources to achieve company goals.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, environmental regulations, and operational procedures.

• Develop and maintain reporting systems to monitor KPIs, production performance, and workforce effectiveness.

• Lead talent development, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.

• Manage departmental budgets, labor utilization, and operational resources to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline.

• 8+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including multi-level management responsibility.

• Experience leading operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

• Strong background in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or operational excellence initiatives.

• Proven success managing large teams and developing future leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience within automotive, advanced manufacturing, assembly, or industrial production environments.

• Six Sigma certification or related continuous improvement credentials.
