We are seeking talented PM Line Cooks who thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance kitchen and take pride in executing every dish with consistency, attention to detail, and excellence. What You'll DoAs a PM Line Cook, you'll play a critical role in delivering the elevated dining experience that defines CUT by Wolfgang Puck.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group standards
- Execute daily prep lists and production schedules with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency, portioning, and presentation
- Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, fruits, sauces, and other ingredients using a variety of classical and modern techniques
- Utilize a wide range of cooking methods including sautéing, grilling, roasting, braising, frying, baking, steaming, broiling, and poaching
- Monitor cooking temperatures, food safety, and proper cooling procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations throughout each shift
- Follow proper food handling, labeling, storage, and rotation procedures
- Assist with stocking and maintaining mise en place for service
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Adhere to all company standards and local, state, and federal food safety regulations
- Minimum 2 years of professional line cook experience
- Previous fine dining experience strongly preferred
- Strong knife skills and understanding of classical cooking techniques
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining exceptional quality
- Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and continuous learning
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands
Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment such as:
- Pasta machines
- Convection and rotary ovens
- Salamanders and griddles
- Deep fryers
- Steam kettles and braising pans
- Pressureless steamers
- Buffalo choppers
- Commercial mixers and slicers
- Digital scales and woks
