Qualifications and Skills:

• Active RN license in the state
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children (K-12) is highly desirable
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities
• Familiarity with care planning, chronic disease management, and emergency protocols in a school setting
• Ability to maintain detailed records and work collaboratively with faculty, parents, and healthcare providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care for students and staff, including first aid, medication administration, and management of acute or chronic conditions
• Promote a healthy school environment through wellness programs and health education
• Maintain student health records and ensure compliance with immunization and safety regulations
• Support students’ physical and emotional well-being by responding to injury, illness, and medical emergencies
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Section 504 plan development when appropriate
