Job Description

As a Welder, you will interpret and follow blueprints and technical drawings to understand dimensions, tolerances, and weld requirements for frames and doors. You will set up welding equipment and prepare materials for MIG and TIG welding in a production setting, performing high-quality welds on frames, doors, and related assemblies, ensuring accuracy and structural integrity. 2nd Shift: 2:30pm-11pm

Responsibilities

• Assemble components prior to welding, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and squareness according to specifications.

• Use grinding tools and other finishing equipment to smooth welds, remove excess material, and achieve required surface finishes.

• Inspect completed welds and assemblies for defects, and correct issues to meet quality and safety standards.

• Follow established production schedules and work instructions to meet output and delivery targets.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve fabrication issues and improve processes.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG and TIG.

• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Experience in production welding and assembly.

• Skill in using grinding tools and finishing equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with fabrication processes and assembly.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
