Staff Accountant

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its accounting team. Position Summar yThe Corporate Accountant will support day-to-day and month-end accounting activities, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and other general accounting functions. This role will work closely with internal teams and leadership to ensure accurate financial information and timely completion of accounting processes .Key Responsibiliti esPerform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliation s.Prepare and analyze financial statements, including P&L and Balance Sheet reportin g.Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and various general ledger account s.Review transactions and accounting records for accuracy and completenes s.Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management activities as neede d.Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processe s.Analyze account balances and investigate and resolve discrepancie s.Assist with intercompany accounting and related reconciliation s.Prepare financial reports and provide accounting support to leadership and other internal department s.Assist with annual audits, tax documentation, and other external reporting requirement s.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencie s.Perform other accounting and finance responsibilities as neede d.Qualificati onsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferr ed.2+ years of accounting experience preferr ed.Manufacturing or other industry experience is a pl us.Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporti ng.Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliatio ns.Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analys is.Experience with an ERP or accounting syst em.Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-throu gh.Excellent communication and problem-solving skil ls.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environme nt.Self-starter who is comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader accounting te #J-18808-Ljbffr CAROLINA PRG
