Remote Sr Worldwide GTM Specialist - GenAI, AI Services and Bedrock, Data & AI GTM

Do you want to help define the future of Go to Market (GTM) for Amazon AI Services and Amazon Bedrock? In this role, you will be responsible for defining, building, and deploying targeted strategies to accelerate customer adoption of Amazon purpose built AI Services, including Amazon Transcribe, Amazon Polly, Amazon Textract, and Amazon Bedrock.
You will engage with product managers to influence product direction and help our customers utilize Amazon AI Services, working backwards from key customer use cases in areas such as Voice AI. Responsibilities also include developing GTM plans, leading customer engagements, driving external/internal evangelism, and developing scale assets.
Key job responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to define go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Amazon AI Services and lead cross-functional initiatives to expand existing markets, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities. This involves activities including market sizing, working with your counterparts from across the globe to build an opportunity pipeline, working with customers to understand technical requirements, creating content to train the field teams, driving industry thought-leadership, working with product teams to define new features, and identifying partners.
As the ideal candidate, you possess a business and technology background that enables you to lead and drive engagements with customers from various segments, from startups to multinational enterprises. You have domain expertise in Generative AI and key ML powered use cases. You have the technical depth to articulate the benefits of Amazon Bedrock, and other GenAI related services and solutions to data scientists, and C-Level executives. In addition, you have a good understanding of the GenAI market trends, ecosystem, opportunities, and are passionate about market development and evangelism. You will need to be adept at interacting, communicating, and partnering with teams within AWS (product, solutions architecture, sales, marketing, and professional services) and externally with customers and model providers.
You will drive the development of the GTM plan for building and scaling adoption of Amazon AI Services, interact with customers directly to understand their business problems, and work with and model providers and our solutions architects to help them define and implement scalable GenAI solutions to solve them. You will also work closely with account teams and product teams to unblock and drive production implementations.

You will need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams within AWS such as services teams, field solutions architecture, sales, marketing, representing your team to executive management and working directly with AWS’s top customers. You should be passionate about helping companies/partners understand best practices for operating on AWS. You will also look for patterns and trends that can be broadly applied across an industry segment or a set of customers that can help accelerate innovation.

Basic Qualifications

– 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
– 5+ years of professional or military experience
– 2+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning), GenAI (Generative AI), Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
– Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications
– Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
– Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences
– Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
– Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
– Experience designing, implementing, and scaling workforce development programs across large-scale operations, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions
– Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams
– Experience using analytical tools for workforce metrics and reporting
– Experience using data and analytics to drive sales strategy and results
– Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and working cross-functionally
– Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives
– Experience explaining technical concepts in pre-sales environments
– Experience managing competing priorities and using metrics to drive business decisions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
