Overview Job Title: Product Development Engineer Location: Beaverton, OR (On-site) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support apparel product creation and technical design efforts for major upcoming projects. Our team thrives in a dynamic environment and values expertise in patternmaking, collaboration, and hands-on sample creation. Responsibilities Engineer, cut, sew, and assemble apparel samples, ensuring they meet designer vision and premium quality standards. Participate actively in the apparel development process, collaborating with product creation teams and offering technical guidance. Interpret design intent, troubleshoot patternmaking and garment construction challenges, and provide alternative solutions as needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, new technologies, and consumer needs to support project completion and corporate goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in apparel design, textile science, or related field (preferred); equivalent product creation experience may be considered. 5–10 years of advanced patternmaking and/or sample sewing in the apparel industry, covering inception through production including materials, grading, construction, costing, manufacturing, and quality. Expertise with patternmaking, sewing, garment construction, Optitex/Gerber, CLO/Browzwear, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD Pattern Design software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
