Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care for a group of patients during the designated shift, using the nursing process and aligning with the medical plan of care and input from patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate delivery of care across ages as assigned by unit needs.
- Incorporate teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care to support patient and family understanding.
- Delegate appropriate aspects of care to other nursing staff, based on current clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate documentation, monitor patient safety, and adhere to infection control and privacy standards.
- Function within the CNA-represented staff model to support unit operations and patient care delivery.

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Ability to work days, 12-hour shifts, and 36 hours per week
- Capacity to care for patients across age ranges as assigned (age mix dependent on unit)
- Effective communication and collaboration with the care team
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adhere to assignment duration
