- Milling Machine Operator## DescriptionThe Kearney Companies is a Site & Utilities Contractor based in Riverview, FL. Our projects include site development, underground utilities, roadway construction, and public infrastructure work throughout the Tampa Bay area.We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Milling Machine Operator to join our growing team! If you have hands-on experience operating asphalt milling equipment and are looking to build your career with a respected and well-established company, we want to hear from you.## Qualifications* Operate asphalt milling equipment (Wirtgen, Bomag, or similar) in a safe and efficient manner.* Conduct daily inspections and assist with basic equipment maintenance and repairs.* Assist with general labor and paving-related tasks as needed.* Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites.* Work closely with the road crew and follow direction from foremen and supervisors.* Minimum 2 years of experience operating Wirtgen or Bomag asphalt milling machines.* Strong understanding of roadway construction and milling operations.* Must have reliable transportation and a valid Florida driver’s license (CDL is a plus).* Ability to pass a drug screening and background check (Drug-Free Workplace).* Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required by project demands.**Compensation:*** Competitive pay commensurate with experience.* Opportunities for career advancement and growth within the company.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Vision insurance
