HR Generalist

This role requires a professional who can manage multiple priorities, build effective working relationships, and ensure HR processes are accurate, timely, and consistently administered.About the RoleThe HR Generalist will serve as an important member of the team, providing support to employees and managers across a broad range of human resources functions. This position is well suited for an experienced HR professional who is comfortable balancing employee support, process coordination, compliance responsibilities, and administrative follow-through. The role contributes to a positive and consistent employee experience while supporting accurate HR records, payroll-related processes, employee communication, and HR program execution.What You’ll DoManage key recruiting and hiring activities for assigned positions, including job postings, applicant review, candidate communication, interview coordination, hiring manager follow-up, offer support, and completion of pre-employment requirements.Administer a consistent and professional onboarding process through Paycom by coordinating new hire paperwork, onboarding tasks, employee setup, uniform needs, system access requests, and first-day readiness.Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers by providing guidance on company policies, procedures, employee concerns, workplace expectations, and day-to-day HR matters.Support employee relations matters with discretion and sound judgment, including information gathering, documentation preparation, investigation support, disciplinary action support, and participation in termination processes as needed.Partner with managers to promote consistent application of company policies, reinforce performance expectations, and support appropriate documentation and follow-up regarding employee matters.Assist with benefits administration by supporting employee inquiries, enrollment activity, qualifying life events, open enrollment preparation, and communication of available benefit resources.Maintain and audit employee records, personnel changes, HRIS data, confidential documentation, and reports to support accurate HR operations and informed decision-making.Coordinate payroll-related HR items, including timecard follow-up, call-in punches, PTO tracking, employee status changes, reporting, and communication with payroll or accounting as needed.Support compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws by maintaining accurate documentation, consistent processes, and timely HR follow-up.Contribute to HR programs and initiatives related to employee communication, training, engagement, safety, performance management, retention, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness.Review HR reports, employee data, and workplace trends to identify concerns, communicate findings, and recommend practical improvements that support employees, managers, and business needs.Core CompetenciesProfessional communication skills with the ability to build trust, listen effectively, and respond appropriately to employees and managers.Strong organizational skills and follow-through to manage multiple HR priorities, deadlines, and detailed administrative requirements.Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential, sensitive, or employee relations matters.Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research issues, evaluate options, and support practical HR solutions.Collaborative work style with the ability to support HR projects, business needs, and continuous improvement initiatives.Why You’ll Like This RoleThis role offers the opportunity to contribute to the employee experience while supporting a team that values service, accountability, collaboration, and strong working relationships.Ready to apply?
