GTIN Implementation Consultant - Retail Supply Chain

GTIN Implementation Consultant – Retail Supply Chain Location: Nashville, TN or Remote (need to travel to Nashville, TN location once a month) Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented GTIN Implementation Consultant to lead the integration of Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) standards across key retail supply chain systems. This role bridges Business and IT teams to ensure seamless implementation of GTIN-specific requirements in Order Management, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Master Data Management (MDM), and other supply chain processes. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define GTIN use cases and data requirements across retail systems. Assess current system capabilities and identify gaps in GTIN support within Order Management, WMS, MDM, and related platforms. Design and document GTIN implementation strategies and requirements aligned with industry standards and regulatory compliance. Lead configuration and integration efforts to enable GTIN tracking, validation, and reporting across supply chain workflows. Support data governance initiatives to ensure GTIN consistency and accuracy across enterprise systems. Provide training and change management support to business users and technical teams. Partner with vendors and solution architects to ensure GTIN compatibility in third-party applications and interfaces. Qualifications Proven experience in retail supply chain systems, especially Order Management, WMS, and MDM platforms. Strong understanding of GTIN standards (UPC, EAN, etc.) and their role in product identification and traceability. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system configurations. Familiarity with data modeling, integration frameworks, and enterprise architecture principles. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
