This position is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration who wants real-world exposure to corporate accounting in a dynamic, growth-oriented, employee-owned company. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Support Assist with invoice review, coding, and data entry. Support vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Help process customer payments and perform AR aging review tasks. General Ledger & Month-End Close Prepare and update account reconciliations under supervision. Assist with journal entries, accruals, and variance checks. Help validate transactions for accuracy and completeness. Operational & Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to gather information needed for accounting processes. Tools & Systems Work in Excel and ERP/financial systems to input, organize, and analyze data. Assist with data validation and accuracy improvement initiatives. Qualifications Education Pursuing a bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field. Completion of introductory accounting coursework required. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Vlookup/Xlookup, pivot tables preferred). Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
