Work Environment\n

The position is entirely remote, which allows you the flexibility to work from home while still being an integral part of a collaborative team. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This remote setup not only enhances work-life balance but also ensures you can focus on providing quality care without the constraints of a traditional office environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client's specific goals and preferences, utilizing evidence-based interventions.

• Utilize approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address clients' mental health needs effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor client progress, reassess treatment plans, and make necessary adjustments to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve therapeutic techniques.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals suffering from mood disorders including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Your role is crucial in helping them navigate their emotional challenges and enhance their overall well-being. Your clients may include various demographic groups that face unique socioeconomic challenges, such as homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, thereby enriching the diversity of your therapeutic experience.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
