Title: LTC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Seward, Alaska

Duration: 13–26 Week Contract

Shift: 3x12 or 4x12 Variable Shifts (Days or Nights only)

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced LTC Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in a long-term care facility. This role supports a high-acuity elderly population with a strong focus on safety, daily living assistance, and compassionate care delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct hands-on care for long-term care residents

• Assist with bathing, grooming, feeding, and hygiene needs

• Support mobility, transfers, and repositioning of patients

• Monitor and record vital signs and patient status

• Assist with incontinence care and catheter care

• Maintain infection control and isolation precautions

• Support patient safety and fall prevention measures

• Assist nurses with basic clinical tasks within scope

• Report any changes in resident condition promptly

• Ensure clean, safe, and supportive care environment

• Float within LTC units as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification (Alaska license required or pending with application submitted)

• Valid CNA license in another U.S. state required if AK license pending

• Completion of formal CNA training program required

• Minimum 1 year LTC experience required

• Previous travel experience required

• BLS Certification required
