Executive Assistant to the President

JW Michaels & Co.

Our client, a New York-based family office investing across public and private markets, is seeking an Executive Assistant to directly support the firms President.

This is a NYC-based role with 3-4 days/week on-site.

Responsibilities:

Manage a complex and ever-changing calendar, scheduling internal and external meetings, calls, appointments, and events

Coordinate domestic and international business and personal travel, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and detailed itineraries

Serve as a trusted gatekeeper and point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

Attend meetings as needed, take notes, maintain records of key discussions, and help track follow-up items

Prepare materials for meetings and assist with ongoing correspondence and communication

Manage incoming calls, emails, and requests, exercising sound judgment and discretion

Coordinate with external advisors, service providers, and other business contacts

Assist with special projects and provide general administrative support to help keep the executive organized and operating efficiently

Candidate Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required

5-10+ years of experience supporting a Founder, President, Principal, or other senior executive

Experience working in a family office, investment firm, professional services environment, or similarly high-touch setting is preferred

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and operate with a high degree of professionalism

Proactive, resourceful, and capable of anticipating needs before they arise

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
