The Role The Vice President of Business Operations will be responsible for the end-to-end business execution, planning, and internal operating systems of the company. This position requires an AI-first mindset. The individual in this role will own the management and implementation of the company's AI-first operating system. They will work across all departments to convert data into decisions, decisions into priorities, and priorities into rapid, effective execution. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Key Responsibilities The Vice President of Business Operations will lead several critical functions essential to the company's growth. Execution leadership involves establishing the organization's operating rhythm and ensuring execution excellence. This requires close partnership with the executive team to prioritize initiatives based on impact, define clear ownership and accountability, and drive the rapid and effective implementation of top-priority projects. Internal systems development is a core duty. Golden Child is building an AI-first operating system, and the Vice President of Business Operations will own its execution and integration. This involves partnering with the Engineering and Data Science teams on development and leading organization-wide adoption and enablement. The role demands advanced analytical capabilities. The Vice President of Business Operations must apply expertise to extract key signals from both internal and external data. This function translates these signals into actionable insights and company priorities. Customer economics ownership is also required, involving the measurement and forecasting of customer lifetime value and acquisition economics. This includes responsibility for retention, revenue forecasting, acquisition attribution, and incrementality analysis. Financial oversight is a central component of the position. The Vice President of Business Operations will own the FP&A and demand planning functions. This focuses on a next-generation, AI-driven approach to forecasting and comprehensive business planning. Finally, they will coordinate execution across all functions to ensure critical initiatives remain on schedule. This includes partnering with other leaders to test, learn, and iterate on new operating models. A key outcome will be defining systems and playbooks that standardize execution as the company scales. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate brings 7 to 10 years of cumulative experience in business operations, data analytics, strategic finance, or financial forecasting. A deep background in driving execution and managing complex cross-functional initiatives is necessary. Exceptional analytical skills are required to translate data into concrete business decisions. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to use AI to materially improve workflows, analysis, and decision-making quality. Experience in building and scaling systems within high-growth organizations is essential. The individual must be a systems thinker capable of operating effectively at both strategic and executional levels. A passion for scaling consumer businesses is strongly preferred.
