Enjoy a hybrid work environment with growth opportunities.Job DescriptionVice President, Fund Accounting OverviewThe Vice President, Fund Accounting will lead financial operations for a global fund administration firm.Collaborate with a team to manage infrastructure fund accounting and ensure compliance with industry standards.Drive innovation and efficiency in fund administration processes and client services.Engage with sophisticated alternative investment clients to deliver tailored solutions.Leverage advanced technology and tools to enhance operational effectiveness.Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of accounting professionals.Contribute to the strategic growth and innovation of fund administration services.Join a hybrid work environment offering flexibility and collaboration opportunities.Vice President, Fund Accounting Key Responsibilities & DutiesMaintain and control general ledgers and sub-ledgers for various funds.Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and partner capital statements.Oversee client relationships, meetings, and service plans, including annual budgets.Provide technical accounting expertise, particularly in the infrastructure fund space.Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance.Review partnership agreements and implement fund structures on accounting systems.Prepare ad hoc reports and oversee trading and operations processes.Lead initiatives for business and technology reengineering in fund administration.Vice President, Fund Accounting Job RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA designation preferred.8+ years of experience in fund administration or accounting; 15 years preferred.Proficiency in US GAAP and fund accounting systems like Investran or Yardi.Strong leadership and supervisory skills with proven project management abilities.Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.Experience in managing infrastructure funds and delivering client-focused solutions.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting guidelines for alternative investments.Ability to negotiate, plan budgets, and analyze margins effectively.
