About the Position We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer II to join our growing IT team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cloud-first environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges while acting as a key escalation point. In this position, you will bridge the gap between IT support and infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams on both day-to-day support and strategic initiatives. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring a seamless experience for a hybrid and remote workforce, while contributing to automation, security, and continuous improvement efforts. This role is based on-site with minimal travel required. What You’ll Do Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues across Windows, macOS, and cloud environments Provide advanced end-user support for Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), and SaaS applications Perform root cause analysis and contribute to long-term solutions Infrastructure & Systems Administration Troubleshoot and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Autopilot, and hybrid identity environments Assist with Active Directory, server maintenance, and cloud networking Diagnose networking issues (LAN/WAN, VPN, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) Manage devices and users in hybrid environments using Intune and MDM tools Support Office 365 ecosystem (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online) Maintain endpoint configurations and optimize user experience Security & Compliance Implement and maintain zero-trust security policies Support compliance initiatives aligned with NIST, CIS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 Monitor and respond to security alerts, phishing attempts, and vulnerabilities Automation & Optimization Automate IT processes using PowerShell, Python, or Bash Enhance ITSM workflows (e.g., Vivantio) for ticketing and asset tracking Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery Participate in IT projects such as cloud migrations and system upgrades. Collaborate with Infrastructure and DevOps teams on design, optimization, and continuity planning. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing Maintain knowledge base articles, procedures, and runbooks Train end-users and IT staff on tools, best practices, and troubleshooting Support onboarding and offboarding processes What We’re Looking For Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Experience 5–7 years of experience supporting enterprise-level IT environments Strong experience in hybrid identity environments (Active Directory + Entra ID) Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft 365, Azure, AVD, and Intune Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and mobile devices (iOS/Android) Scripting experience (PowerShell required; Python/Bash a plus) Technical Knowledge Solid understanding of cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols Experience with VoIP systems and enterprise telephony Exposure to APIs, REST services, and integrations (nice to have) Core Competencies Technical Expertise & Problem‑Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform root cause analysis Communication & Customer Focus: Ability to translate complex technical issues into simple solutions Collaboration: Team‑oriented mindset with strong cross‑functional partnership skills Ownership & Accountability: High sense of urgency and responsibility in issue resolution Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve What You’ll Receive At NIP Group, we recognize there are many factors that contribute to your overall satisfaction both at work, and in your personal life.
