Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed mental health assessments, evaluating patients’ trauma histories to guide appropriate treatment methodologies.
• Collaborate with patients to develop and implement individualized, trauma-specific treatment plans that prioritize resilience and recovery.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during both individual and group sessions.
• Empower patients by facilitating therapeutic groups designed to process trauma, enhance coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.
• Engage in crisis intervention, providing support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure immediate care and psychological stabilization.
• Educate patients and families about trauma reactions, coping strategies, and available resources to reinforce a supportive network.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, adhering to state regulations.
• Participate in case consultations and contribute to team meetings, enhancing trauma-informed care strategies through knowledge sharing.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position specifically focuses on the treatment of individuals dealing with the aftermath of trauma, including adults suffering from PTSD, complex trauma responses, and dissociative disorders. Our goal is to support patients from diverse backgrounds in their healing journeys, empowering them to overcome the effects of traumatic experiences and build resilience.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure therapeutic experience preferred, with a focus on trauma-informed care.
• Strong expertise in trauma-related disorders and knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a non-judgmental approach to patient care.
• A resilient demeanor with the ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.
• Proficient in EHR systems and other computer applications relevant to patient documentation and management.
• The ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team is essential for this role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and a strong foundation in resilience-building approaches.
• A background in providing group therapy or facilitating workshops aimed at trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

The range for this position's salary is between USD 80,000 and 104,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
