HR Generalist

Serving as the operational backbone of HR, the full-time salaried HR Generalist will manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance in a remote setting while being a trusted resource for employees on day-to-day HR inquiries. Key responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including managing timekeeping, deductions, and payroll tax filings Administer employee benefits programs and manage the annual open enrollment process while addressing employee benefits questions Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and support for audits Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 2 to 4 years of HR experience with direct ownership of payroll processing and benefits administration Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state employment law and HR compliance practices Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems, preferably Rippling Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
