Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role offers the chance to support access awareness, assist visitors and staff, and work with a team that leads with agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.48 - $19.48 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site leadership or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe foot traffic, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to help support daily operations.
• Document incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance concerns accurately and communicate relevant updates to supervisors, store representatives, and/or responding authorities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
