Recruitment and Retention Bonus CSWs newly hired with CDCR/CCHCS and providing in-person care at a facility 50% or more of their time will receive a 1% recruitment and retention bonus for the first 7 years of their employment, increasing by 1% year over year, maxing at a 7% bonus by year 7. In addition, CSWs working in our mental health program and newly hired with the state of CA are eligible to receive a recruitment and retention bonus of up to $30,000 within the first 12 months of service. Referral Bonus Plus, all CDCR/CCHCS employees that refer a mental health clinician who is successfully hired by CCHCS may be eligible to receive a referral bonus of $5,000 per referral. Free Clinical Supervision and Exam Support: Unlicensed staff receive free individual and/or group supervision and support for licensure in person or via videoconferencing. Stipend for supervisory hours: Licensed clinicians providing clinical supervision to unlicensed team members are eligible for additional compensation. Potential PSLF and NHSC loan repayment: Eligibility for student loan repayment through PSLF and, depending on your location, NHSC.
