Job Title

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Committed to providing the highest level of customer service and upholding 4-star service standards.
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills in order to develop good relationships with all guests and co-workers.
• Communicates professionally and accurately with guests and co-workers, both over the phone and in person.
• Extremely knowledgeable about the in-room dining menu in order to answer any and all questions guests may have.
• Takes complete and accurate orders efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Provides guests with accurate information about the in-room dining meal delivery.
• Proficient in entering in-room dining orders into the point-of-sale system.
• Prioritizes and works effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experienced in food service, preferably in an in-room dining setting.
• Address guest concerns effectively and timely and escalate as appropriate.
• Performs all duties in compliance with safety standards, health standards, the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, and internal policies and procedures.
• Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
• Additional duties attending Mini Bars.
• Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed or requested.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrated experience working in the food and beverage industry.
• Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
• Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Graduation from high school or the equivalent in education or experience.
• One (1) or more years of recent and related food and beverage experience, preferably within a hospitality or gaming environment.
• Experience in order taking and cashiering is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training.

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Excellent customer service skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Essential duties involve performing physical exertion including frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks.
• Essential duties involve working in a small, confined area used to prepare food with floors that may become slippery in the process.
• Essential duties require lifting up to 50 pounds to stack, store, or move kitchen, restaurant, or general office supplies and equipment.
• Essential duties involve a flexible workweek with additional hours occasionally required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$18.00+ hour based on experience plus gratuities (service charge + tips) per order.
