Chief Executive Officer / Chief Growth Executive - Wealth Management

Judson Group has been engaged by a rapidly expanding RIA platform that partners with and acquires successful independent wealth management firms. We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer / Chief Growth Executive – Wealth Management to step into a high-impact leadership role with one of its founder-led partner firms in Western Michigan. This is an opportunity to help shape the next chapter of an established business while having a direct hand in its growth, culture, and long-term success.

The ideal candidate is a commercially minded leader who knows how to turn strategy into results. You will gradually assume responsibility for the firm’s financial performance, team, clients, and growth agenda while working alongside the founder and the broader platform. Your goal will be to accelerate organic growth, strengthen the organization, and develop the people and infrastructure needed to build a more scalable, durable business—while giving the founder greater flexibility in how they spend their time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Take increasing responsibility for the firm’s financial results, operating performance, people, and growth, working closely with the founder.
• Establish yourself as a trusted leader across the firm and create a thoughtful path toward greater day-to-day ownership.
• Develop and execute a growth strategy designed to double the business organically over three to five years.
• Expand revenue through a combination of deeper client relationships, new business, referrals and centers of influence, pricing, marketing, technology, and other growth initiatives.
• Help advisors become more effective business developers through coaching, accountability, and practical sales training.
• Translate the firm’s strategic priorities into a clear annual plan, budget, scorecard, and set of measurable objectives.
• Establish a consistent management cadence that keeps priorities clear, surfaces issues early, and reinforces accountability.
• Identify opportunities to improve how the firm operates, then implement the systems and processes needed to support growth without adding unnecessary complexity.
• Use financial and business data to evaluate performance, allocate resources, and make informed decisions.
• Build a leadership bench capable of taking on greater responsibility as the organization grows.
• Help prepare the firm to capitalize on future M&A and tuck-in opportunities as part of the broader platform’s expansion.

What We’re Looking For:

• 8–18 years of professional experience, ideally with evidence of taking on increasingly complex responsibilities in demanding environments.
• 2+ years in wealth management, asset management, private banking, insurance, or a related regulated industry.
• 2+ years managing and developing teams, with experience hiring, coaching, and raising performance.
• You have personally carried a revenue, sales, business development, or growth target and can point to tangible results.
• Comfortable building relationships, uncovering needs, influencing decisions, and winning business.
• Experience improving a sales funnel, increasing conversion, expanding existing relationships, generating new business, or otherwise moving a growth metric.
• Experience managing a P&L or significant business area with accountability for both revenue and expenses.
• You naturally look for ways to make the organization better, more efficient, and less dependent on individual performers.
• M&A exposure – Familiarity with acquisitions, integrations, or tuck-in transactions is a plus.
• You can earn the confidence of founders, advisors, and employees while navigating nuanced relationships and competing priorities.
