Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients through comprehensive assessments that include the review of medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic tests to establish impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities.

• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic treatment plans based on physician's orders, ensuring that goals are realistic and aligned with the patient's age and development.

• Monitor and document treatment progress, adapting interventions as necessary to meet evolving patient needs, and maintain thorough and accurate patient records.

• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support staff, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care.

• Interact with various healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and collaborate on intervention strategies that facilitate holistic care.

• Engage in continuous professional development by contributing suggestions for improving productivity standards and fostering a positive clinical environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient demographic we serve includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, geriatric patients dealing with mobility challenges, and post-operative rehabilitation cases. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide compassionate care, instilling confidence and motivation in your patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems for patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in a rehabilitation or clinical setting, including experience in developing and implementing treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
