Project Control Specialist

Randstad is seeking a highly detailed and organized Project Control Specialist for a prominent client in the Washington, D.C. area. In this role, you will drive project delivery excellence across nationwide technology deployments by managing project controls, tracking financial metrics, and facilitating seamless cross-functional communication. Acting as a core liaison between leadership, project teams, and external vendors, you will oversee project schedules, risk registers, and operational governance to ensure complex ADA assistive technology installations remain on time, within budget, and fully aligned with organizational standards.

Project Tracking & Execution: Maintain project schedules, trackers, action logs, risk registers, and status reporting artifacts to oversee the nationwide deployment and installation of ADA assistive technology solutions. Financial & Performance Analysis: Support program management activities, including financial tracking, accrual management, budget monitoring, resource utilization, and project forecasting. Executive Reporting: Prepare weekly project status reports, executive summaries, variance reporting, and data analytics to evaluate project performance and recommend delivery improvements. Stakeholder & Vendor Liaison: Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and project teams; draft and distribute meeting summaries, action items, and project updates. Risk & Governance Management: Monitor project milestones, identify dependencies, and proactively escalate risks and issues to ensure strict program governance. Continuous Improvement: Support ongoing process improvement initiatives and assist in developing project management best practices, documentation, and presentation materials. qualifications:
Deployment Experience: Proven track record supporting large-scale, multi-site, or nationwide technology deployment projects. Project Controls Expertise: Strong skills in project coordination, financial/variance reporting, risk tracking, and stakeholder management. Vendor Management: Background in managing external vendor relationships and facilitating inter-team communications. Technical & Analytical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint) and standard project management tracking software. Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities with experience presenting complex data and forecasts to leadership.
