Benefits Specialist

Our Administrative & HR Staffing team is currently looking to speak with candidates who would be interested in hybrid opportunities in Cambridge, MA with similar specifications to those below:


Compensation :

$40.00-$45.00/hr*
*listed not guaranteed - potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications, and internal equity and may be outside of this range.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefit plans that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance
• Process FMLA requests and employment verification.
• Provide analytical and technical support in the delivery and auditing of our benefit programs
• Manage PTO statement for staff and days off
• Assist with Open Enrollment
• Set up and perform scheduled audits with benefit carriers
• Administrate compensation changes records
• Assist with the tracking of FMLA and administrate company leave of absence claims
• Perform quarterly 401K audit
• Review and pay monthly benefit vendor invoices and maintain budget tracker

Requirements:

• 2 years working in HR and benefits, with an in-depth understanding of FMLA, 401K and benefits administration
• Experience working with a benefits software and HRIS systems.
• Proficient user of Google applications, DocuSign, Greenhouse, Namely
• Strong business acumen, customer service and critical thinking skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent problem solving/judgment skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a face-paced environment
