Nomura Swiss CNC Lathe Setup Operator

What your day looks like
You’ll begin by preparing a Nomura Swiss machine for production, loading material through LNS or EDGE bar feeders, and setting up qualifying tools for first-piece approval. Once the setup is validated, you’ll run parts, inspect your own work, and document results to keep quality records complete and current. Between jobs, you’ll perform efficient changeovers and handle other related tasks as needed.
Core responsibilities- Set up and operate a Nomura Swiss machine for production runs
- Configure and verify qualifying tools to meet job specs
- Utilize LNS and EDGE bar feed equipment effectively
- Inspect your own parts and maintain traceable quality documentation
- Execute CNC setup and changeover between jobs
- Support additional duties as they apply
- Programming experience is a plus
- Proficiency in CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
- Background in Aerospace Manufacturing
- Attention to detail and commitment to in-process inspection
