Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients following established standards, the nursing process, and evidence-based practice.
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and report changes to the care team promptly.
- Assess patient status, document findings, and update care plans to reflect evolving needs.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at varying levels, coordinating with physicians, therapists, and other professionals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth transitions, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, safety, and post-discharge instructions; ensure understanding and informed consent.

Requirements
- Active, current Registered Nurse license in California
- Ability to work Day shifts, including 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week)
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
- Experience in an inpatient short-stay or acute-care environment is beneficial
- Clear, professional communication and team collaboration abilities
