Application Support Engineer

Supporting critical energy applications, the full-time Principal Application Support Engineer will provide hands-on technical support, develop solutions, and enhance application performance while working remotely or from Columbus, OH/Chicago, IL. Key responsibilities Monitor and support production applications, databases, and integrations, restoring service during incidents Develop, test, and deploy enhancements to applications, databases, and reporting tools while improving operational transparency Collaborate with business SMEs to understand processes, validate results, and ensure compliance with operational standards Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field Eight or more years of relevant experience in application development, database support, or production support Advanced SQL skills with strong experience in either Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Experience developing or troubleshooting stored procedures, scheduled jobs, and data interfaces Ability to provide after-hours production support as needed
