They will work closely with cross functional teams and other stakeholders to ensure that each new product and capability meets customer needs and is delivered in a timely fashion. The Xcelerator Product Manager will work closely with the Saber Solution Train, to align the work in the Xcelerator digital thread ecosystem. This highly visible role will require strengths in communication, leadership, problem-solving, research, and time management to guide and align the many teams within the Xcelerator Agile Release Train (ART), toward aligned outcomes.Working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, the Product Manager will have the following responsibilities:Understand customer needs — You will be the internal voice of the Functional Program Customers within the ARTReviewing customer feedback and data to determine potential improvements to products or processesCommunicating with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure they have the information they need to make decisionsWorking with development teams to gather requirements for new features and productsWorking with the Solution Train to define "complete" and acceptable"Providing input on the program/Solution vision and roadmapWithin the context of the Solution train priorities, you will Manage and prioritize the flow of work in the program backlog, ensuring enough features are ready in the backlog at all times.Be an active participant and leader within PI Planning and Pre-PI Planning EventsWork with System Architect/Engineering to understand technical scope of work required to allow for appropriate sequencing of workParticipate in and lead as required, demos and Inspect and Adapt (I&A) events.Basic QualificationsExperience working in an Agile/SAFe environmentProven experience working across functions and Programs to deliver resultsExperience as a Solution Train Engineer, Release Train Engineer, Solution Train Manager or Product Owner/Product Manager desiredExperience with JIRA and technical planningExcellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, teams, and individual contributorsDesired SkillsCertified in SAFe a plusExperience leading complex IT Systems Integration effortsBusiness Process Reengineering experience desiredExperience managing across organizational boundariesExperience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems, Manufacturing Engineering Systems (MES)Experience leading complex IT Systems Integration effortsBusiness Process Reengineering experience desiredExperience managing across organizational boundariesPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
