Work Environment\n

This role will be offered in a fully remote setting, enabling you to work comfortably from your home while still connecting with clients in a meaningful way. Our organizational culture emphasizes work-life balance, with core hours from Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5 PM, but may occasionally require additional hours during evenings or weekends to meet client needs. You will be utilizing secure telehealth platforms for client sessions and collaboration with colleagues, ensuring that our clients receive seamless care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and create pre-crisis and crisis management plans addressing immediate client needs.

• Document all client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards, using our electronic health record system.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate clients’ mental health and implement appropriate interventions.
\n
• Create and sustain open communication with multidisciplinary teams to promote a holistic approach to client care.
\n
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high standards of service.
\n
• Serve as a liaison with state agencies and community partners, ensuring seamless coordination of services.

• Engage in professional development activities by attending relevant workshops, conferences, and meetings.
\n
• Promote our agency’s mission and values throughout all levels of client and community interactions.
\n
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the organization's growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily involves working with older adults who are navigating significant life transitions, coping with loss, and addressing age-related mental health challenges. You will provide targeted counseling for issues such as depression, anxiety, and grief, empowering seniors to improve their emotional resilience and quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in geriatric counseling or mental health support.
