Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their specific emotional and psychological care needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will engage actively with those facing significant life changes, including loss of loved ones, health issues, and transitions into assisted living or care facilities.

Qualifications\n

• An accredited Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.
