Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while staying connected with our experienced team. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential evening shifts contingent upon patient and organizational needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological conditions of elderly clients, including specific tools tailored for geriatric evaluations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and support groups, to address varying psychiatric conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on the geriatric population experiencing various mental health issues. These can include but are not limited to chronic depression, anxiety disorders, adjustment difficulties, and dementia-related conditions. You will find yourself working closely with elderly clients who may have complex needs requiring both compassion and professionalism, helping them navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• At least two (2) years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably focused on geriatric populations.

• Thorough understanding of geriatric mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment practices.

• Skills in delivering individual and family therapy designed to resonate with the older adults.

Compensation and Benefits\n
