Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, leveraging telehealth technologies to facilitate therapy sessions. Our telehealth platform allows counselors to engage meaningfully with clients through video calls, ensuring accessibility for elderly residents in our care. Work hours are set from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, providing a structured schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying their specific psychological and emotional needs.

• Provide tailored individual and group counseling sessions that address common emotional and mental health challenges faced by seniors.

• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to design and implement comprehensive care plans that promote the overall well-being of geriatric clients.

• Educate and empower staff, family members, and caregivers on effective strategies to enhance emotional health and quality of life for our elderly population.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this position is on elderly clients within our Geriatric Care Clinic. You will be working with individuals coping with significant life changes, chronic health issues, and the emotional impacts of aging. This role requires a deep understanding of geriatric mental health, as well as a compassionate approach that respects the dignity and experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution or university.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) licensure in the state of Washington.

• Additional training or specialization in geriatric mental health and age-related psychological issues is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
