Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments tailored to the unique needs and experiences of older adults, identifying both psychological and social factors impacting their mental health.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, accommodating cognitive changes and physical health concerns, and regularly adjust these plans based on client progress.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy sessions, to address common geriatric psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, and grief.

• Collaborate closely with geriatric psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to all aspects of the client’s care.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, develop awareness of treatment strategies, and provide resources available within the community for additional support.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation that meets all legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications\n
