Finding Path Psychological Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our innovative team providing remote telehealth services. Work Environment\n

This role is designed for remote work, offering you flexibility while ensuring effective service delivery through our telehealth facilities. Monday to Friday, you will work 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, providing a structured schedule that enhances work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments that evaluate a client’s mental health and substance use issues, ensuring the identification of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate closely with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to their specific needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at developing clients' coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation techniques.

• Coordinate and integrate care with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to provide holistic treatment and support.

• Regularly monitor substance use and apply motivational interviewing strategies to encourage clients throughout their recovery journey.

• Provide educational resources to clients and their families, highlighting the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders while emphasizing treatment adherence.

• Accurately document treatment progress and interventions following ethical and legal guidelines to ensure comprehensive care continuity.

• Engage in case conferences, trainings, and team meetings to stay informed of best practices in treating co-occurring disorders and enhance personal effectiveness.

The clients you will serve primarily include individuals who are navigating the complexities of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. By providing individualized care tailored to their unique challenges, you will contribute directly to improving their recovery rates, quality of life, and overall emotional health. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Expertise in evidence-based therapies specifically targeting co-occurring disorders, including but not limited to Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Strong knowledge of the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, with a demonstrated ability to communicate this knowledge to clients and their families.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills, promoting effective collaboration within a diverse interdisciplinary team.
