Director, US Pricing and Contracting Insights - Cross-portfolio

Gilead Sciences seeks a Director of US Pricing and Contracting Insights to serve as subject matter expert for US pricing and market access strategy. This cross-functional role involves leading pricing workstreams, managing portfolio WAC adjustments, and providing strategic guidance to senior leadership across early-stage through in-line assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead US market access assumptions and pricing inputs for Global Pricing Models across early, mid-stage, and business development opportunities
- Maintain pricing research repository and support transition of global workstreams to US teams during late-stage pipeline and launch readiness phases
- Act as subject matter expert on IRA and PDAB pricing impacts; inform access strategies and WAC adjustment recommendations
- Oversee cross-portfolio WAC pricing updates and competitive benchmarking via third-party vendors; drive recommendations through governance approval
- Develop and maintain pricing standard operating procedures for internal governance, SOX compliance, and consistency across key systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years
- Deep expertise in US pharmaceutical pricing, contracting, and market access strategy
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of IRA, PDAB, and current US pricing trends and methodologies
- Proficiency in pricing models, competitive benchmarking, and payer coverage analysis
- Experience managing external consulting resources and governance processes
