This setting allows you to assess and treat individuals in a comfortable, familiar environment, which can significantly influence their healing process. You will enjoy a flexible Monday to Friday schedule with a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Tri-County, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to create tailored treatment plans.Implementing evidence-based rehabilitation strategies for a range of conditions, primarily focusing on orthopedic challenges.Delivering therapeutic interventions that foster patient improvement and mobility, utilizing tools and techniques aligned with each patient's plan of care.Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes to evaluate efficacy and communicate results with the broader healthcare team.Providing education and support to patients and their caregivers to enhance understanding of treatment protocols and encourage adherence.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.Meeting operational goals, including minimum utilization metrics and overall business objectives.Patient Population / Client FocusIn this role, you will primarily focus on patients experiencing orthopedic issues, but you will also have the opportunity to work with pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. By building strong, trusting relationships with each client, you will be instrumental in helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and healthcare professionals.Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer software for documentation and reporting.Preferred ExperienceWhile not mandatory, experience in home care, previous exposures to various patient populations, and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities are highly advantageous. A track record of establishing productive relationships within the community can also enhance patient engagement and care delivery.Compensation and BenefitsThis full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience.
