Accounting Clerk

U.S. Soccer Accounting Clerk
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for processing the organization's transactions related to accounts payables/receivables, and other administrative accounting tasks. This role will be reporting to the office within our National Training Center in Fayetteville, GA.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain the accounts payable inbox
- Collect mail daily from mailroom
- Process accounts payable invoices
- Follow up with individuals on outstanding invoice approvals
- Review expenses in the organization expense reporting platform
- Record checks received, and provide departments deposit information
- Assist with the generation invoices for accounts receivable
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting with a focus in accounts payable
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Financial ERP systems
- Strong verbal, written and in-person communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organization skills
- General knowledge of soccer
- Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments
- Must be able to connect "micro" details to the "macro" vision and mission

- Experience working at a non-profit, sporting organization, financial services, or public accounting firm
- Experience at a public accounting firm
- Pursue lifelong development and learning
