Financial Analyst

LHH is seeking Financial Analyst candidates for an exciting direct hire opportunity with a growing company in the Hauppauge, NY area. This is a full-time, on-site position. Temp to Perm.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and at least 2 years of financial analysis experience. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000/year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
Perform financial modeling and variance analysis to support business decisions
Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
Analyze financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Develop and maintain financial dashboards and management reporting
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
Support month-end and year-end close by assisting with financial reporting and analysis
Evaluate operating expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and presentations for senior leadership
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modeling
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
MBA, CFA designation, or progress toward a professional certification preferred
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, or professional services environments
