Salary: 16/25

• Provide peer support and mentorship to individuals in recovery.
• Encourage and model healthy recovery behaviors and coping strategies.
• Assist clients with goal setting, recovery planning, and personal development.
• Support clients in developing life skills, including employment readiness, communication, and problem-solving.
• Help clients access community resources, support groups, treatment services, and recovery programs.
• Facilitate or assist with recovery-focused groups and activities.
• Provide encouragement and accountability to support continued sobriety and stability.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Complete required documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with treatment providers, case managers, and recovery support staff.
• Assist with transportation, appointments, and recovery-related activities when needed.
  

Qualifications

• Lived experience in recovery from substance use and/or mental health challenges required.
• Minimum 1 year of sustained recovery.
• Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), Peer Support certification, or QBHA
• Must have all CCAR certificates
• Must have HPSO Insurance
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Two professional references.
