Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting through our telehealth platform. Our clinicians engage with patients via secure video conferencing, allowing for both convenience and accessibility. The clinic operates Mondays through Fridays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some evenings and weekends on a rotational basis. This structure promotes a balanced work-life environment while ensuring our clients receive consistent care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, employing standardized assessment tools appropriate for telehealth.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their unique needs and preferences while setting measurable goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored for mood disorders, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), both in individual and group settings.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care strategies to empower informed decision-making.

• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, ensuring adaptations to therapy are based on client feedback and evolving needs.

• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and medical providers to create integrated treatment approaches, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Blue Horizon, you will primarily work with adults and adolescents experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety-related disorders, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n
