Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) at our outpatient treatment center, your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions that foster a supportive environment for clients to share experiences, connect, and learn.

• Conducting Individual Therapy: Provide tailored mental health counseling that assists clients in exploring their thoughts and emotions, ultimately helping them develop effective coping strategies.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans, ensuring their preferences and specific needs are addressed.

• Collaborating with the Multidisciplinary Team: Engage with a diverse team including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff to coordinate care and consult on complex cases for optimal client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our treatment center specifically caters to young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.

• A minimum of two (2) years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a preference for experience working with adolescents and young adults.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and partner effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with specialized training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
