Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside Health Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group sessions designed to foster connection and shared learning among young adults.

• Individual Therapy: Provide personalized and empathetic counseling, assisting clients in understanding and addressing their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track client progress, ensuring that they are on the right path to achieving their goals.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, communicating regularly to coordinate care and consult on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our outpatient treatment services primarily focus on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are participating in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic is often tackling significant life transitions which may manifest as anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges. By employing evidence-based and holistic treatment methods, you will empower clients to navigate their issues and promote their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Massachusetts.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing telehealth services is highly preferred.

• Prior experience working with young adults in outpatient settings is advantageous.

Brightside Health Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
