Breast Imager Position Overview

Location: UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA

Status: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours; no weekends or holidays. Some regional clinic visits may be necessary for onsite procedures. Enjoy a balanced schedule with options for remote work.

Immigration Status: Open to J1 Waiver and H-1B candidates for 2027 and beyond.

Compensation Package

• Sign-On Bonus: $100,000 for this full-time, onsite role.
• Quality Incentive: Eligibility for additional productivity incentives.
• Base Salary: Competitive, with potential for extra earnings through productivity incentives. Note that the posted salary range does not include these incentives, and actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including experience and market conditions.

Position Highlights

• 100% focus on breast imaging—no on-call duties!
• Comprehensive services include 3D mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI, radioactive seed localization, and image-guided core biopsies (stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI).
• Collaboration with Magee-Women's Hospital of UPMC for genetic telemedicine, providing regional access to genetic counseling services.
• Partnership with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center for local access to cutting-edge research and therapies.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical institution.
• American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility.
• Expertise in all aspects of breast imaging.
• Fellowship training in breast imaging is preferred, or several years of dedicated experience in this field.
• Ability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and necessary credentials.
• DEA certification.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care and excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as we prioritize delivering high-quality care in a compassionate and professional environment.
