Catering & Bar Manager

We’re looking for an experienced, driven, and highly organized Catering and Bar Supervisor to lead catering and bar operations for our equestrian events.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys working directly with clients, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience from start to finish.

About the Role

As the Bar & Catering Supervisor, you’ll manage catering requests for all our clients from A–Z. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for clients, helping plan events, present menus, develop execution strategies, coordinate staff, and ensure every detail is handled properly.

You’ll work closely with clients, event teams, and our hotel food & beverage department to bring each event to life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing catering events from initial inquiry through final follow-up
• Meeting with clients and presenting menus and catering options
• Developing event execution plans and timelines
• Preparing and managing BEOs
• Coordinating staffing and event logistics
• Managing billing and post-event follow-up
• Supervising and supporting catering and bar staff
• Working closely with the hotel food & beverage team
• Ensuring exceptional service and a high-quality guest experience
• Resolving issues quickly and professionally

Bar Operations

As the Bar Supervisor, you’ll also oversee the day-to-day operation of our bar program, including:

• Scheduling and supervising bar staff
• Hiring, training, and developing team members
• Ordering and managing inventory
• Monitoring product levels and controlling costs
• Assisting with menu development
• Maintaining high standards for service, organization, and presentation

This Is Not a Typical 9-to-5 Job

The event industry operates on its own schedule, and this position does too.

Some weeks may be relatively quiet, while others may include early mornings, long event days, evenings, weekends, and late nights. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the energy of the events and is willing to embrace the schedule that comes with working in the equestrian industry.

Required Qualifications

• (5) years Professional catering management experience
• Hospitality or event catering experience
• Bartending experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms
